such turbulent times. The rapid rate of changes and delays do inhibit our operations, as this is an industry-wide issue. To contend with the ongoing changes, NCS will actively update/monitor this page. Please note, that while we are
exceptionally confident in our ability to offer you fast, precise information, our pandemic circumstances may impede the process. Periodic inclement weather and flooding can also cause courts to close. While our exemplary swiftness and

Court Closures and Delays

Hurricane Milton is expected to cause mandatory evacuations, power outages, flash flooding, road closures, court delays, & closures across the Gulf Coast and inland areas.

Multiple Counties	FL	10/10/2024	CLOSED	The following counties in Florida are closed due to Hurricane Milton, and there is no estimated time for restoration. Consequently, we are unable to process searches at this time, and delays should be expected: Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Hernando, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Okeechobee, Pasco, Pinellas, and Sarasota.

Appling, Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley, Brooks, Bulloch, Burke, Camden, Chatham, Clinch, Coffee, Columbia, Cook, Dodge, Echols, Emanual, Evans, Glynn, Jeff Davis, Johnson, Lanier, Laurens, Long, Lowndes, Mcintosh, Montgomery, Newton, Pierce, Polk, Richmond, Rockdale, Screven, Tattnall, Toombs, Ware, & Wayne. Please expect delays.
MULTIPLE	GA	10/1/2024	CLOSED	Both counties are closed due to a chemical fire. We are able to process orders remotely; however, any orders requiring clerk attention cannot be completed at this time. Please expect delays.
Bibb	GA	5/14/2024	Delayed	Superior and State Court indexes are offline out of an abundance of caution due to a potential cyber-attack. The court is actively adding additional security measures and is investigating the potential breach. While the court confirmed that they are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible there is no ETA at this time. Please expect delays.
Cobb	GA	7/30/2024	Delayed	The Superior and State Courts are experiencing an internet outage, resulting in the public access terminal being down. There is currently no estimated time or timeline for when access will be restored. Please anticipate delays.
Muscogee	GA	3/26/2024	Delayed	Currently working with court clerks as we experience connectivity issues. Please expect delays while we complete searches via conventional methods.
Berrien	MI	04/2/2024	Delayed	08/09/2024, While the trial court continues its transition to a new system, Berrien County public access remains unavailable. The court is unable to provide a solid ETA for restoration. Berrien County Trial Court is undergoing a transition period as they switch to a new computer system. During this time, access and the ability to conduct record checks will be suspended for 2-3 weeks.
Ottawa	MI	08/22/2024	Delayed	Please note at this time that all orders in Ottawa, MI are currently requiring clerk assistance due to limited information available on the primary index. Clerks are only allowing 5 names per day to be submitted for review. Due to this limitation, please expect extended turnaround time of up to 4 weeks for any Ottawa, MI search requests.

Robertson	TN	6/27/2024	Delayed	Due to ongoing construction at the Circuit Courthouse, Circuit Court operations will be temporarily relocated to the General Sessions office. Please note that the Public Access Terminal (PAT) will be unavailable until at least Monday, September 9th.
Midland	TX	9/10/2024	Delayed	The Court is in the process of transitioning to a new case management system, which has temporarily halted our ability to process searches. The transition started on 9/9, and the new system is expected to be live in two weeks. We are working closely with the court to gather more updates. Please expect delays during this period.
Smith	TX	10/1/2024	The public access terminal is currently down for unknown reasons, with no estimated time for restoration. As a result, we are unable to process searches at this time. Please anticipate delays.
Multiple Counties	MI	04/11/2023	Delayed	Due to Michigan’s clean slate law that went into effect on 4/11/2023, multiple counties are experiencing delays and have reporting limitations. For more information, please click here.
